Mind, Body Therapies was founded by Laura Zohman, a former fatty, who experimented with many weight loss methods both professionally and personally. In the last 25 years, she discovered visualization and other mind-body techniques as missing links to health and permanent weight loss.

Laura holds a Master's Degree in Human Development with an emphasis on Nutrition, a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and an Associates Degree in Food Service. She is Licensed in Massachusetts as a LDN (Licensed Dietitician Nutritionist) as well as a CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialist). Laura is certified in Hypnotherapy and Hypnocoaching and is a Reiki Master.

Laura taught Nutrition at Northeastern University in Boston, spent 9 years as a Nutritional Consultant for a medical practice and 4 years at a women's reproductive health center. Laura's creative methods help clients to examine, explore and to establish positive mind-body lifestyle changes.

Laura teaches in colleges and holistic centers and sees private clients for holistic nutritional counseling in Danvers and Salem, Massachusetts.
