NUTRITIONIST - Licensed Massage Practitioner

John W. Cartmell, MS, has been a Licensed Massage Practitioner in Washington State since 1985, and a Certified Nutritionist since 2004, receiving a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Research from Bastyr University of Natural Medicine, Kenmore, WA. His master's thesis was on "Nutrition in Fibromyalgia". As a Certified Nutritionist, he specializes in clinical nutrition, for special nutritional needs of people with diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, post-traumatic stress, age-related disease and other disorders. He has published papers and letters on health and nutrition in several professional journals, and his recently completed a book, “Fibromyalgia, a Nutritional Approach to Prevention, Treatment and Cure”, is expected to be available to the public by mid 2008.
